With our Officiant Services, you can trust that your ceremony will be conducted with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine connection to your love story. Josh started his journey as an officiant in 2018 when one of DD's OG couples, Carla + Drew asked if Josh would be willing to marry them in the Bermuda triangle of Texas, Marfa. Josh made his debut donning an emerald green suit and glitter flame boots, because if you've ever been to Marfa, you know there's just no other option, and we have pictures to prove it!
Since then, it's naturally entangled itself with the services Drunk on Design has to offer and has grown exponentially and organically via word of mouth. It also seems to be a reassuring service for couples who have hired an officiant outside of Drunk on Design that if anything were to happen to the third party officiant, because #life, Josh could easily and effortlessly step in on a whim and keep the day going. Josh provides officiant services for all sizes of weddings and elopements. Just the couple? Cool! 250 people? Cool, too! He describes his style as go with the flow and casual, but also down for a good time.
Black tie? No problem. One of the sweetest ways couples honor Josh's presence is by also ordering a boutonniere for him to wear. It's a simple gesture that goes a long way. One of Josh's most memorable times as an officiant was later doing a shoey with a groom to seal the deal. If you do know what this is, I'm sorry for you. And if you don't know what this is, look it up on your own accord and I told you sorry in advance (I, Lilli, am gagging as I type this.)
